Weddings Without Walls

Over the past year, I haven’t spent much time pursuing wedding photography. The sour taste of fancy venues with horrible lighting, bitter wedding planners and bossy mother in-laws had me nearly convinced that wedding photography was pretty fake and not very fun. I was thinking there was no place in that world for me as a photographer. However, over the last several months, some of the most genuine wedding jobs have fell into my lap. The simplicity, the scenery and the character of these jobs have changed my attitude toward the sincerity of wedding photography and the joy I get from photographing them. I’ve been finding myself excited, laughing and occasionally even tearing up during and behind my computer screen for weeks after, as I let the photo editing process unfold. That being said, I’ve decided to launch Weddings Without Walls- a creative outdoor wedding photography service, desiring simple, scenic, outdoor and or destination wedding arrangements.
